美国密西西比大学医学中心,药理与毒理学,副教授;研究生院博士导师,湖南中医药大学医学院,百人计划学者,特聘教授,博士导师,湖南省2014年百人计划引进人才,目前担任湖南中医药大学中西医结合心脑疾病防治重点实验室主任.美国国家卫生研究院首席科学家,美国心脏学Fellow,美国及英国心脏学会基金评委,英国糖尿病学会基金评委,美国国家卫生研究院特别科学基金评委。国际<>杂志副主编。长期从事促血管生成素系统 (Angiopoietins/Tie-2)对新生的血管形成及心肌损伤修复的影响。在国际上首先发现并提出了 “糖尿病的新生血管不成熟稳定”的新颖观点, 该发现为糖尿病异常血管生成及糖尿病心肌病的治疗, 开发新的药物提供重要的实验基础。2011年至2013连续三届获得密西西比大学医学中心优秀科研成就奖。先后主持完成了美国心脏学会和美国国家卫生研究院(NIH)科研项目5项,担任主持人科研经费达到200万美元. 发表SCI论文30余篇。其中作为通信作者发表论文在国际著名杂志;<>杂志(影响因子8.474), ATVB杂志 (影响因子6.338),美国生理学杂志(影响因子4.012)以及 Laboratory Investigation杂志等.
