主要成绩:

2011年1月全职回国,现任杭州师范大学衰老研究所所长,国家科技部973首席科学家,澳大利亚华人生物医学协会主席,国际临床和实验生理学药理学杂志主编等。入选杭州市全球引才“521”计划,浙江省千人计划特聘教授。

在国际书刊杂志发表科学论文、综述等100余篇,包括Science、Nature和PNAS。主持澳大利亚科学研究项目20余项,主持科技部国家重大研究项目及国家自然科学基金3项。获澳大利亚七项主要科学研究奖。近来在衰老发生机制研究中,发现 “压力胁迫和能量代谢如何引发过早衰老”的机制,以杭州师范大学为第一作者单位,发表在PNAS上。

建立杭州师范大学衰老研究所,专业研究生物的衰老过程与调控机制。引进了十位教授作为学科带头人负责研究所十个实验室的发展,建设了国内一流、国际领先的医学生物学平台。率领研究所获得杭州市“521”创新团队。

2011年率领杭州师范大学在内的五所大学获得科技部国家973重大科学研究计划项目并任首席科学家。成立杭州端丽生物技术有限公司。
