国际教育学院成立于2004年，是学校为实施国际教育发展战略而设立的直属学院。学院曾先后承办了与世界一流名校英国曼彻斯特大学、英国曼彻斯特城市大学、新西兰UNITEC理工学院和韩国启明大学的本专科12个中外合作办学项目，致力于引进国外合作高校先进的办学理念、课程设置和师资等优质资源，通过组织开展国际教育协调服务和学生管理服务，促进学校的改革发展。 借助中外合作办学项目平台，学校80多名教师和300多名学生赴境外进行了交流与深造，培养了9000多名具有国际视野、质量优良的项目毕业生。为学校荣获省级引进国外智力工作先进集体和国际化竞争力排名位居河南省高校前列发挥了积极作用。2018年9月开始，学院负责来华留学生管理服务工作。现有硕士来华留学生29人，本科生4名，分别来自俄罗斯、乌克兰、乌兹别克斯坦、越南、老挝等“一带一路”沿线国家。学院负责承办学校的“英语角”和“汉语角”，通过开展国际化和本土化相结合的交流活动，积极传播中原文化，促进中外学生语言应用能力的培养。
A Brief Introduction to College of International Education
Founded in May 26th, 2004, College of International Education (CIE) is directly subordinate to Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT), which aims to implement the strategy for international education cooperation and development. The college has successively undertaken 12 Sino-foreign cooperative education projects with the world-class universities of Manchester University in the United Kingdom, Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, UNITEC Institute of Technology in New Zealand and Qiming University in South Korea. With teachers and other high-quality resources, through the organization and development of international education coordination services and student management services, we promote the reform and development of ZUT. With the aid of the Sino-foreign cooperative education project platform, more than 80 teachers and over 300 students of ZUT went abroad for exchanges and further studies, and more than 9,000 project graduates trained with international perspectives and excellent quality. It has played an active role for ZUT to be awarded the provincial-level advanced collective for introducing the foreign intellectual work and ranks among the top universities in Henan Province in terms of international competitiveness. Starting from September 2018, College of International Education is responsible for the management and service of international students in China. There are currently 29 postgraduate students studying in China and 4 undergraduate students from Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Laos and other countries along “The Belt and Road”. CIE is responsible for hosting the school’s "English Corner" and "Chinese Corner", and actively spreads the culture of the Central Plains through the combination of internationalization and localization, and promotes the cultivation of language application ability of Chinese and foreign students.
