贺美，女，1984年2月生，博士，副教授，硕士生生导师。长江大学“十二五”科研百人、“菁英人才”。2005年本科毕业于中南林业科技大学，2008年硕士毕业于广东海洋大学，2011年博士毕业于厦门大学，博士期间香港科技大学访问4个月，博士毕业后于广东省微生物研究所工作1年，2013年于长江大学任教至今。2017-2018年国家公派于挪威国立水资源研究所访问1年。先后主讲《水环境保护》、《水污染与水质分析》、《水灾害防治》、《环境毒理学》等课程，多次获教学质量优秀奖。指导硕士生6人次，本科毕业生40人次，其中2名本科生获湖北省优秀本科学位论文。指导国家大学生创新创业项目1项，指导学生参加长江大学第六届大学生创新论坛学术报告会获二等奖，指导学生参加长江大学第三届“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛获二等奖。
长期从事环境风险评价与预测、油田水污染修复、环境微生物学、污染物生态毒理学、水环境保护等方向的研究工作。作为项目负责人主持国家自然科学基金2项，主持中石油创新基金1项，作为研究骨干参与中石油创新基金、湖北省基金等多项研究工作。在《Journal of Hazardous Materials》、《Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry》、《Food and Chemical Toxicology》、《Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry》、《Archives of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology》、《环境化学》、《生态毒理学报》等国内外公开出版学术刊物发表论文20余篇。其中，SCI论文8篇（SCI一区收录论文3篇），EI论文2篇。获批国家发明专利1项。
